Lush Review: Pink Bath Bomb

Two weeks ago, I took a bath using the pink bath bomb from Lush. It originally has 3 little flowers in it, but that was the other side and my cousin already used it, haha.

This is what it looked like once I dropped it into the bath.

The water turned pink, I couldn't capture it well on my phone, but I tried to used a filter to get it.

There were little hearts that came out the bath bomb that I didn't know about.

The hearts were such a cute surprise. I didn't know which bath bomb I was using because half of it was gone, but I found which one it was because of the hearts.

So this bath bomb is one of the more inexpensive ones from Lush and it smells like candy. It leaves the water looking so cute and the scent isn't too sweet at all. I recommend this if you just want a cute, pink, relaxing bath.

Summer Essentials + Faves

I've had almost 3 months off school, and I have a little less than 1 month of summer vacation left. I'm not ready for school yet. It doesn't even feel like I was out of school for that long! I'm trying to make the most out of my last 30 days. Anyways, here are what I think the essentials for summer are and some of my favorites of each. I'm sorry if this post is a little late, haha.

1. Tote bag - A big tote bag to hold all your things is extremely handy during the summer when you're out and about. I currently use my American Apparel cities bag or Kate Spade Saturday tote bag.

2. Bathing suit - I own too many bathing suits, so that's why I didn't bother adding one in my photo, haha. But if you love going to the beach like I do, a cute bathing suit is a must for the summer. Or if you like going to the pool or just want to tan.

3. Sunscreen - If you're out at the beach, the pool, or an amusement/water park, it's best you have sunscreen on you. Protecting your skin is very important. I like you using the waterproof spray kinds, because I dislike sunblock.

4. Sunglasses - If you're outside during the day, then the sun is usually bright and shinning, and maybe blinding you, haha. I find that sunglasses are great to wear when you're driving, relaxing at the beach, or just out walking. The black sunglasses in my photo are a pair I bought last month at Target.

5. Sandals - I think sandals are the go-to shoes during the summer. They are cute and easy to wear/put on. I've worn my black sandals from Madewell almost every time I go out.

6. Deodorant - If you have a long day outside ahead of you, I think that deodorant is helpful, haha.

7. Face mask - I think a cool, refreshing face/body mask is great to have during the summer to help soothe skin. I used Mask of Magnaminty from Lush. (I've done a review before on it if you're interested.)

8. Nail polish - I feel like some nail polish colors are meant only for just the summer season. Like bright, colorful ones. The one I'm currently using that I think is great for summer is "bump up the pumps" from Essie.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what your summer essentials & favorites are down below.

Eleventh Week of Summer

On July 16th, I made the first picture for breakfast and then went on a walk. Then the second picture is what I had for dinner. It was so good!

On July 17th, my boyfriend and I went to the beach with my brother and dad. We had Arby's for lunch and then we were there for the whole afternoon. Then we went home and showered. Then my boyfriend and I went to dinner. We were supposed to go to Panera, but we both wanted something different so we went somewhere else. I got chicken kabobs and then he got steak roll-ups. After we got home and I edited my video. Then we watched Friends.

On July 18th, I stayed home all day and afternoon playing animal crossing, watching bones, etc. Then after dinner, I went out with my mom and did a little shopping.

On July 19th, I hung out with my friend Andy for a while and my boyfriend stopped by the drop off Bon Chon his mom got me when they were out of town the day before. Then he came back during the dinner and ate with my family. Then we watched Friends until we fell asleep.

On July 22nd, my boyfriend took me to sushi for lunch because I was craving it so bad. He stuck his head out because he decided to be silly, so I told him that I was gonna post it on my blog. He's so cute and so sweet for fulfilling my craving.

My Trip To Washington DC + New Youtube Video!!

Last week on July 10, I went to Washington DC with my boyfriend. It was our first time going here just by ourselves and it was one of our greatest days together yet. I made a new vlog about our day and this blog post will be more a more detailed documentation with more photos.

So we started the day by driving hours to the metro station to get to DC. I had to use the bathroom before we went to our first stop. It was really dirty, haha.
I was trying to re-create this photo of "Andy Dwyer." If you know what I'm talking about, you deserve a high-five. I've loved this show for years.

I accidentally stepped in mud so my boyfriend cleaned my shoes for me.
This was our lunch. It was like $27 for just this and I was not impressed and kind of upset it cost that much because it wasn't anything special lol.
I got a sandwich with pesto, bell peppers, chicken, and arugula on some like sprout bread. I didn't like the bread and there was too much arugula so I eventually took off the bottom part of the sandwich lol.

My boyfriend messed up one of the trains so we wasted like 10 minutes and I got kinda grumpy. So when we got to the place we were supposed to get, there was a bunch of tents that were selling street food and I was really excited. There was one tent that had ice cream and that's what we ended up choosing on. It was 2 scoops for $5 which I didn't think was worth it, but my boyfriend wanted to get it for me to make up making me grumpy. It was made by liquid nitrogen, right in front of us!! If you haven't watched my YouTube video, I recorded how what it looked like. It was organic and tasted so good.
This was probably the longest escalator I've ever been on. But anyways, after the ice cream, we went to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. After that, we took the metro again and went to the National Zoo.
This was the pizza I made for dinner. It was the best pizza I ever had. If you watched my YouTube video, you would know how the pizza was created.
 This was my boyfriend's pizza.
I really wanted a to-go box, and luckily we only finished half our pizzas so we got boxes.
This was my outfit of the day, haha.
  • Sunglasses - Target
  • Tank - Uniqlo
  • Shorts - Forever 21
  • Shoes - Nike
  • Bag - American Apparel
After dinner, we took the metro to Georgetown and we just walked. Then we headed back home.

This was me on the last metro back to the metro station. I was tired and my feet were in so much pain by then.

That was my day in Washington DC with my boyfriend. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post and my video.
