Looking Back at 2015 Questions

Hi, there! 2015 is coming to an end tomorrow and before it does, I wanted to answer these questions that I found on tumblr. If you would like to answer these questions too, feel free to!

1: What did you do in 2015 that you’d never done before?
I took a day trip to Washington D.C. with my boyfriend and I visited the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. We also took the metro a lot, walked around the city, ate good food, and had lots of fun together.
2: Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I kept almost all my new year's resolutions which I am really proud of myself for. And yes, I've started writing my resolutions for next year.
3: Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4: Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5: What countries did you visit?
I stayed in the U.S. this year.
6: What would you like to have in 2016 that you lacked in 2015?
Happiness, being kinder to myself, more sleep.
7: What dates from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I don't think I have any dates that I will remember except for anniversaries and my birthday.
8: What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I got a 3.96 for my fall semester and am currently at a 3.51 GPA.
9: What was your biggest failure?
Letting myself eat lots of candy, fast food, junk food, and soda towards the end of the year.
10: Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not really. I got a paper cut, and got sick a few times but that's it.
11: What was the best thing you bought?
Probably my throw blanket from Target that I got on Black Friday.. lol. I honestly can't think of what the best thing I bought was. My dad bought me my iPhone 6s, if that counts.
12: Whose behaviour merited celebration?
I don't know how to answer this.
13: Whose behaviour made you appalled?
I can't think of someone, but I'm sure there's someone.
14: Where did most of your money go?
I'm not exactly sure. Maybe food, clothes, or kpop albums lol.
15: What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to Washington D.C. with my boyfriend, my family trip to D.C. + New York, and the 5SOS Rock Out With Your Socks Out concert.
16: What song will always remind you of 2015?
Call Me Baby by EXO
17: Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer?
I think I might be happier, or the same, I'm not sure. I'm fatter, I think. Maybe richer, I'm not sure.
18: What do you wish you’d done more of?
Exercise and allowing myself to be happy.
19: What do you wish you’d done less of?
Stressing, fighting, and eating unhealthy foods.
20: How did you spend Christmas?
I woke up early and drove my grandparents to my uncle's house to watch my younger cousins open their Christmas presents. Then I went back to my house and got ready for Christmas lunch with my family. 21: Did you fall in love in 2015?
Yes, with EXO and BTS.

The fact that I ended the semester with a 3.51 GPA.
30: How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2015?
Better? Haha. I stepped out a little bit out of my comfort zone and dressed a little simpler this year.
31: What kept you sane?
I have no idea really. There wasn't/isn't really one thing that kept/keeps me sane. I guess Netflix lol.
32: Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Kim Taehyung, my boyfriend, hehe.
33: What political issue stirred you the most?
The fact that Donald Trump is running for president.
34: Who did you miss?
The same person as usual, but not anymore.
35: Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2015.
It's okay to not want to be around that are emotionally draining.
36: Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
I want to use this line from the song because I really liked this song, "But I always thought you'd come back, tell me all you found was, heartbreak and misery. It's hard for me to say, I'm jealous of the way, you're happy without me."

Thank you for reading this post! Let me know if you answer these questions too.

❄ Christmas Tag ❄

Hi, everyone! So Christmas is in a week and I couldn't be anymore excited; it's my favorite holiday. Anyways, I'm here with another tag. I like doing tags because I think they are fun, haha. So let's begin.

1. Do you like to stay in your PJ’s, or dress up for Christmas?
On Christmas morning, I like to stay in my PJ's. But when I have my family lunch or dinner, I like to dress up. It gives me a reason to look nice, haha.

2. If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be?
I've already boughten presents for my friends, but if I could only choose one person to buy a present for it would be my boyfriend. I'd choose him because I just want to spoil him and give him something in the season of giving and to end the year good.

3. Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Since I don't really get presents under the tree anymore, I just open the few gifts I save for Christmas on Christmas Eve with my boyfriend. But this year, I'm going to save as much as I can for Christmas morning.

4. Have you ever built a Gingerbread house?
Yes! I don't think I'll be making one this year though.

5. What do you like to do on your Christmas break?
Sleep in and watch Netflix (which I do during the semester anyways, haha). I just like not having to stress about anything and being able to relax and do things at my own pace and have time for everything I like to do.

6. What’s your favorite Christmas meal or treat?
My family usually eats a rib roast for Christmas Eve/Christmas dinner so I like that. My favorite treat is peppermint bark or anything peppermint with dark chocolate.

7. What’s your favorite holiday movie?
A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Nightmare Before Christmas, or The Holiday.

8. Candy Canes or Gingerbread Men?
Probably candy canes just because I don't eat gingerbread cookies.

9. Have you ever made a snowman?
Yes! Haha. I usually do a bad job, but it my boyfriend is there it looks like a real snowman. When I make it, it just looks like a mountain, haha.

10. Which do you like better, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
Ahh, this is a hard question. I like both because I feel like Christmas Eve is special, but Christmas Day is also very special. I would have to go with Christmas Day though because the whole day feels special, rather than just the evening.

11. White lights, or colored lights?
For a christmas trees and outside decoration, I like colored lights. But for like a room, I like white lights.

I hope you enjoyed this tag! I tag anyone who would like to do this. Let me know in the comments if you happen to it so I can check out you post. ~

Happy Holidays!

Black Friday Haul

This post is late due to me being lazy.. hehe. Anyways, I wanted to share with you what I got on Black Friday. I was really happy with my purchases this year and the deals were pretty good in my opinion.

The first place I went to was H&M. My boyfriend and I stood in line for the scratch off tickets again. We got a $25 off $40 and a $50 off $75 or more, I think. H&M had a lot of reduced prices, which I was pretty impressed with. Like a sweater for $5? I would be losing money if I didn't buy it, haha.
From here, I got:
  • 2 infinity scarves (black + grey) = $14.99 $4.99
  • white/grey with black sweater = $19.99 $4.99
  • mock neck stripe top = $12.99
  • jersey long sleeve with mesh stripes = $14.99 $4.99
  • black sequined dress = $34.99
  • magenta sequined dress = $34.99
  • black and silver long sleeve dress = $9.99

Next, we went to Sephora because I knew they were having some little deals. I picked up this Tarte set which was only $10. I was in need of a new blush and I have trouble picking one I'll like so I decided to just go for it and get this. I think for $10, this was a pretty great deal.

After that, we went to Urban Outfitters. They usually do 50% off their clearance items, but this year it was 30% off clearance and then 40% off if you had their app downloaded.
I got:
  • lace trimmed black and white sweater = $59 $39.99 + 40%
  • blue sparkle nail polish = $5 $0.99 + 40%

On Black Friday night, my boyfriend and I went to the outlets with my aunt. I only picked up a few things at Aeropostale. Everything was 60% off. I usually don't shop here, but I got a headband from them almost two years ago and wanted to see if they would have another one, which they did.
I got:
  • blue button up = $54.50 + 60%
  • headband = $14.50 + 60%
  • 3 pairs of earrings = (buy one, get two free) so it ended up being $15

I also bought the Wii U bundle that included Splatoon and Super Smash Brothers. And I ordered the black grid Lulu skirt from American Apparel for like $11. And I got an amazing throw blanket from Target for $9.99.

That's it for my Black Friday haul! Thanks for reading this post and I hope you all had a successful Black Friday. ~

November Favorites

I feel bad I barely made any posts in November and that this post is a week late too. November was a pretty busy month for me; it went by fast, but at the same time, it didn't. Does anyone else feel that way too? Anyways, it's finals week for me and I've finished 2 of 4 that I have. I had posts planned for November, but because I was busy with school and other things, I just got lazy and never got around to it. Anyways, I'll for sure be blogging more this month and here are my favorites from November!

1. Tartelette Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette from Tarte
  • This has been the only palette I've used for the month of November. I got this for my birthday and I really like it. It's great for a easy, every day natural color look.
2. Seventeen
  • I started to really like this K-pop group this month. My favorites are: Joshua, WonWoo, Hoshi, DK, Mingyu, and Vernon.
3. Better Than Sex Mascara from Too Faced
  • This is probably the only mascara I've used for the month of November too. People claim that this is the best mascara ever, haha. I can't say if it's the best, but I do like how it applies.
4. Lipsticks from Colourpop
  • Okay, I wear lipstick like every day and for all of November, the only colors I wore were from Colourpop. I really like their lipsticks and I just really like lipsticks in general so I have 6 from them right now and just alternate every day, haha.
5. Honey Mustard & Onion Pretzel Crisps
  • These are so good. That's all I can say about these. If you like honest mustard and pretzels, this is for you.
6. Kettle Cooked Sea Salt & Vinegar from Lays
  • I can't remember if I've had these in my favorites before but I just love these lol and ate them again this month.
7. Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer
  • I got this game for my birthday and I really like it. I think it's a fun game and really cute.

That's about it for my November favorites! Thank you for reading and hope you had a good November and will have a better December. And for anyone with finals, good luck!

❄ My Christmas Wish List ❄

I've made my Christmas list online for my friends and family to see, hehe. My list is also on this site HERE, (but you have to sign up to see the list and to be able to claim things.) I'll be changing my list/adding more things that come to my mind probably as well.

THE NUMBER ONE THING I WANT IS THIS !!!

I just posted this on my blog yesterday and I've already edited the list so this one isn't probably the most accurate one. The one on the site is though btw.

I saw the Christmas Lush catalog in the mail the other day and gasped at all the new things they have for Christmas this year. So everything pictured above is only available until Christmas.

These are the makeup things I've been wanting.

These are some other things I've been wanting.
  • Vans Socks - I really need more no show socks and I think these 3 are the cutest pack. I'm a size 7 btw, lol.
  • White Kitties iPhone 6 Case - I saw this phone case about a month ago and I thought it was really cute. I have an iPhone 6s, but I think the case would fit anyways. Right?
  • Pinup bkr Bottle - I had this on my birthday wish list and I still really want it.
  • Herschel Network Pouch - I've been wanting one since they came out. I think I'd use it a lot.
  • Herschel Market Tote - I really like this color combination and want my own tote bag from them that I could use for school.
  • Pusheenicorn Relaxed Tee - I was looking at pusheen stuff before my birthday because I think it's really cute and I saw this shirt and though it was really cute. It also looks comfy to wear around the house and sleep in, haha.
**Not pictured:

A continuation of other things
**Not pictured:
David's Tea (2 oz. is the cheapest and smallest option, which I want, haha.)
  • Mocha Matcha - I really want to try this tea. It's two of my favorite flavors in one drink.
  • Peach Matcha - I love matcha and I like the scent of peach, so I'd like to try this.
  • Dark Chocolate Delight - The description of this tea made it sound really tasty, so I'd like to trim this one too.
  • Japanese Sencha - This one would be a daily tea that I drink.
  • Mango Matcha - This one sounds tasty, haha.

Teavana (2 oz. is the cheapest and smallest option only for the first two.)
  • Mango Black Flavored Black Tea - I want to try this tea. I think it's a good combination and that I would like it.
  • Monkey Picked Oolong - I've tried this tea before and I really like how simple it is. It's tasty to me and I'd like to drink every morning because it's refreshing.
  • Youthberry + Wild Orange Blossom - I've tried this tea before and it smells really nice. I think it's a nice tea hot or iced.

My 19th Birthday - Presents ♡

These are some of the gifts I received from my 19th birthday last week. (This post is just so I can document what I got and remember it one day when I look back on it and to say thank you!)

My first gift, I got the day before my birthday in the mail from my friend Jennelle. I took a picture because I seriously went "oh my gosh," because of how many layers she wrapped my gift in, haha. She got me the third mini album from BTS because I love them!! Haha. She choose this album because she didn't know which one to get me and she knew there was one song on there I liked. She did a good job guessing because I love every song on this album. Thank you, Jelly!

Jennelle wrote me a letter, made me a birthday card, and got me two things from Nature Republic.

The card she made me me was so cute, I loved it! She put a whale on it because she knows that's my favorite animal.

When I opened the card, I screamed and closed it right away because I couldn't handle it. I loved it! I put it on my wall after with the other EXO things she sent me before.

My next gift was from my friend Josephine. She dropped it off at my house the morning of my birthday and I saw it before I left the house. I got a balloon too. I was so surprised with what she got me. She also so my birthday wishlist on my blog and got me the lotion from Lush. Thank you, Josephine!

I went to school and my friend Kathleen made me a card in white out, haha. She then bought me Starbucks after class. Thank you, Kathleen!

My friend Andy got me this card and wrote a sweet message inside. It lights up and sings too!

My next gift I got after class from my boyfriend when he picked me up. There were 3 balloons in the car. He got me the Mickey Mouse tsum tsum, but is exchanging it for the Winnie the Pooh one I actually wanted, haha. He got me Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer, two lipsticks from Colourpop, and the birthday card I saw at Target I wanted, haha. He wrote me a separate handmade card, that he has yet to bring to me because he keeps forgetting, haha. I also picked out the bunny gift bag when we were out one day, hehe. Thank you, baby!

My next gift was from my aunt. Those are just pictures of me with the balloons my boyfriend got me and my birthday cake. My aunt got me the Tartlette palette I really wanted and the "Most Loved" kit from Too Faced. Thank you!

This gift is from my friend Christian that I actually got from him yesterday, haha. We used this for game night already last night. Thank you, bff!

My family gave me money and my dad bought me concert tickets. Thank you to everyone who greeted me a happy birthday last week and a bigger thank you to my family and friends who got me something.

My 19th Birthday - 10/29 ♡ + Halloween !

Last Thursday, October 29th, was my 19th birthday. Below are just some pictures I took. I'll make a separate post of the gifts I got from my family and friends.

I had Cane's for lunch with my friend Andy. It's been a long time since I've had it so I wanted to eat it for my birthday.

This one of the balloons my boyfriend got me. That's us in the picture, haha.

For dinner, we went with my family to Sushi King, which is a sushi buffet. I went to it last year for my birthday too, but I wanted it again, haha. My friend was working and the waiter was nice to me and I guess they decided to bring this out for me.

After dinner, we went back to my house and had my birthday cake. My mom made it for me again and it's a strawberry strawberry shortcake arpakasso cake.

On Saturday, my boyfriend and I dressed up for Halloween. The veil I ordered for my corpse bride costume didn't come in on time, which was extremely disappointing, so I had to pull out my prom dress and be a mermaid. My boyfriend was Kanye West from the 808's & Heartbreak album cover.

We went to Chipotle for the $3 Chipotle. Then went home and I got to pass out candy to the last kids who came to my house. The younger brother of the two saw my boyfriend sitting on the stairs behind and kept enthusiastically asking me if we were getting married. I laughed and eventually told him maybe one day and his parents were behind him laughing.

This was the pumpkin I made this year - another Kaws one. And he even liked it on Instagram!! My dad told me a lot of kids came to the house and said that it was the coolest pumpkin they've ever seen.

Thank you for reading this post and I hope you had a great end of October! Let me know what you are for Halloween or what you did if you did anything.

October Favorites

October went by so fast. I can't believe there's only 2 months left of the year! Here were my favorites from October.

1. Maybelline Matte Fit Me Foundation
  • I've never had a foundation before, so I decided to try this one. I think it has pretty good coverage.

2. Birthday Cake M&M's
  • I wrote this down as one of my favorites because I bought a bag the first half of the month and couldn't stop eating them, haha.

3. Haribo Peach Gummies
  • I'm eating these now, they are just so good, haha. If you like peach flavor and gummies, this is for you.

4. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Latte Lip Color in Touch of Spice
  • This lipstick is creamy and I love the way it applies. It stays on for a while and is a great color for the fall.

5. Real Techniques Stippling Brush
  • I bought this brush to apply my foundation and I really like it. It blends and applies it well.
My favorite shows this month from Netflix was:
  • America's Worst Cooks  (Food Network) - This show was really fun to me. I loved watching the people cook and the competition. It was amazing who some people really can't cook, haha.
  • The Great Food Truck Race (Food Network) - This show was fun too. I liked seeing there different kind of foods people would make with their challenges.
  • Last Man Standing - I didn't have anything else to watch so I decided to try this show out and I like it. It's about a man who stops traveling for work and lives home with his wife and three kids.
Thanks for reading this post! Let me know what you're favorites were for the month of October.
